Children are our teachers

I see your wisdom and I am thankful I finally decided to believe it. As a baby I didn’t honor your power and insight. I have learned my lesson dear one as you come into this world to teach, to create change and to bring me a greater understating if myself as I watch you honor your skills and knowing. I guide you in how to release the hurt in the world around you. Others see a defiant boy I see a boy who desperately wants a better world filled with joy and laughter and is frustrated with the petty tribal ways of life. I see you watch me run around frantically with a scowl to remind me that it can be done later and now is the time for fun. I shall set boundaries for myself but never crush your spirit. As we dance and work regather to find balance we learn and grow, rv and flow to the Rhythm of Mother Earths heart beat. I see you for I am you and you are me. I am love, I am light, I am protected. Dream it, Create it, Build a better world!

As two coyotes crossed our paths we both looked into each other’s eyes. A wave of respect ripples through me as I felt their power, grace, stealth and beauty. Living in a world forgotten as they manage their new urban life. They ran like the wind from memories of past encounters of humans and all I wanted to do was hear their secrets. How do you live in this urban world and honor your animal spirit. All I want to do is run into the first and twirl in the light that flickers through the leaves in the trees. To only hear the story from the ravens mouth as he tells tales of the trees. Yet here I sit with the hum of a freeway in the distance and he smell of car exhaust. Yearning for a place to call Home. We will create a world where nature and technology co-exist. We will create a world in harmony with Mother Earth. We can have luxury and simplicity at the same time. We can technology and nature at the same time. We can have non toxic and advanced at the same time. If we only will it to be so and collaborate together instead of compete. Find your creative side

Finding a creative outlet feeds the soul. Gives us a place to stop all worries and just be. A time to let the life force flow through us and on to the paper in a stream of consciousness. A time to let go of fear of what others think of our creation and just be. Whether it’s coloring, drawing, dancing, painting, music or singing, our true creative energy needs to be seen or heard. Let your light shine for all to see! You can only be you and you are always changing and evolving so live in that present moment with joy in your heart. Going with the flow

There may be times we are frozen in time from fear, angry and frustration like seaweed in ice. But we know eventually our hearts will thaw and we shall live again in our truth and stronger than before. As we reach our peak we slowly began to freeze again ready for another time of reflection and rest to once again revive ourselves to a new level of service and joy. I see you there standing tall. Holding our son is the best husband of all. Patient, gentle, confident and wise. I watch you with our son with love in my eyes. You listen to his needs and hold him tight. You learn from mistakes and show him to live in the light. I am so thankful for you and all that you do. A father, a lover, a husband and man among men. You will be my rock and my joy till the very end.
